A Twist Lock mechanism and dual hinges ensure tapes will stay in place even if dropped. The entire tape mechanism actually floats on rubber bushings, which offer added protection to the delicate inner workings. The Power Last power system combines a highly efficient motor with low-load circuitry for drastically improved playback time. The RQ-SW44V delivers up to 25 hours of music - on just one "AA" alkaline battery. The RQ-SW44V is equipped with a Digital Synthesizer tuner with 20 station presets, enabling the user to store 5 AM and 5 FM in each of two modes.
