The JVC XM-P55 is the most compact JVC portable MD Player. It has a 40 second shock protection feature that insures uninterrupted musical fun. A remote control is provided with a jog control for easy operation and a 10-character, backlit LCD display that can show titles as well as track & time information.You can register the music to be played at the beginning of MD playback. You can see whether this function is set or not from the "FAV" indicator on the display. After the FAV music, the first track of the MD is played. This function allows you to listen from the beginning of the track where play stopped because of the unit was set to Stop mode. The JVC XM-P55 also features high-quality sound based on active clear bass (A.C. BASS), newly developed high-quality sound circuitry that adjusts the boost level according to the signal level, giving strong bass without distortion, even when the volume setting is high. Other features include Favorite Track function allowing user to set track playback time and "Top-open" clam shell disc insertion.
