The compact device measures only 1 inch thick--hardly big enough to notice in a backpack or carry on--yet still offers an array of favorite functions, including programmable track memory, random and repeat play, and more. More importantly, the device doesn't skimp on audio, employing a Digital Bass Boost Sound system (DBBS) to pump up low frequencies. The device also includes a 1-bit digital-to-analog converter, an easy-to-read digital LCD display, an auto power-off feature that extends battery life, and a line-out jack. The CX-CD111 runs on two AA batteries (not included) and comes with a pair of stereo headphones.
