Very Fast DVD Burner.......2007-03-09

I have used this product sucessfully on both a PC and a MacBook Pro. So far, absolutely no problems with the hardware. I have not used the Lightscribe software and can't comment on that. I have been able to burn a 800GB DVD data disk in under 4 minutes. Reading and ripping tracks from Music or Audiobook Cds was not as dramatic, but that may be more a software processing bottleneck. I bought it primarily to supplement my old AWFUL slow internal burner on my PC . I download audiobooks from the library and have to burn quite a few discs. This should save a lot of time and wear and tear on my internal drives. The portability, cross-platform use, and extra speed made this a good deal.
