Play your favorite CDs on the plane or at the gym with this slim personal CD player from Coby Electronics. The compact device measures only 1 inch thick--hardly big enough to notice in a backpack or carry on--yet still offers an array of favorite functions, including programmable track memory, random and repeat play, and more. More importantly, the device still sounds good despite its affordable price tag, employing a Digital Bass Boost Sound system (DBBS) to pump up the low-end frequencies. The device also includes a 1-bit digital-to-analog converter to ensure crisp CD sound, an easy-to-read digital LCD display, an auto power-off feature that extends battery life, and a line-out jack. Rounding out the feature set is an attractive blue color that offers a nice alternative to traditional silver or grey models.

The CX-CD111, which measures 5.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep, runs on two AA batteries (not included) and comes with a pair of stereo headphones. And as with all Coby audio products, the unit is backed by a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.
