4 out of 5 stars Good, but could be better!.......2007-06-05

Cons: The WWAN does not have a sim-card module, and GPRS service is available only through Sprint. I had to buy an EDGE PCMCIA card to be able to connect via my own mobile operator, comes with many applications installed (which I do not need) and you can't make a clean XP Pro installation, you have to unistall them one by one.
Pros: Thank goodness it comes with XP Pro, extremely light and perfect for those who need to be online everywhere they go, seems more solid than my previous Vaio (VGN-T350P), has all the ports I need (SD, MS, 2xUSB etc.), battery lasts up to 10 hours, comes with 2GB memory installed.

All in all, it is a good machine if you want a light and small laptop, but DO NOT UPGRADE TO VISTA. Intel Core Solo processors in these tiny Vaio's can not handle Vista. It will take hours just to open MS Word!!

3 out of 5 stars No Vista.......2007-04-27

This computer falsely advertises that it is Vista Capable - it's not. Also, ClearanceClub - who also sells it, sells faulty laptops, and then won't accept returns. I then bought a huge warranty plan, so I could get it fixed, then got vista installed (because it clearly says 'vista capable' on it) and vista is so awful on it, that I can't wait to get it off, but I have to pay more for taking it off! What a complete waste of time and money. This laptop, from a reputable company, who sells you working computers, is great with windows xp. Such an awesome device. But stay away from Clearance Club and Vista.

1 out of 5 stars STAY AWAY.......2007-03-17

Be very affraid to buy any kind of sony notebook. Their parts are customized and exclusively Sony's. This means that if you should have any problem with your computer as I did mine, you are at their mercy to fix it as no one else will go near it. This is where they get you. Their so-called "service" is anything but. I wouldnt wish this hell on anyone and give you my whole-hearted warning to stay as far away as you can from any sony notebooks!

4 out of 5 stars I Loved It!.......2007-03-11

Ok, first things first. As I am not an expert on notebooks I will not talk about the machine specifications, although I looked for the best ones. As a woman, I was looking for a really small notebook I could use anywhere, whether working or watching a movie.
I have it for a week now and so far it is great. It is really fast. You have to get used to the smaller screnn (my other notebook is 17')which takes a couple of days only. The weight is so great for women to carry! You can take it inside of a medium purse without feeling a heavy burden up on your shouder. As my husband travels a lot, he has just orderd one for him after using mine.
I wish it had a built in camera so I could give one more star!
