SHOCKWAVE Series portable CD players deliver ultra-toughness in sophisticated, thin, compact, water-resistant design. With No Skip anti-skip system that reduces or eliminates skipping during most active uses they are perfect for jogging, hiking, or other outdoor activities. SHOCKWAVE portable CD players have been designed to virtually eliminate skipping under normal listening conditions. Panasonic has given its players a thin, lightweight, traverse mechanism to minimize the influence of outside vibrations, and a floating rubber construction to help absorb the vibrations. The Servo and Digital Servo Systems assure precise focus servo and tracking servo operation with even more resistance to vibrations. However, if a shock does occur, the 40-second backup memory will kick in, and your music will continue to play as if nothing happened. This gives you a near-perfect listening experience.You can program your portable CD player to play tracks at random, in any order you specify, or program it to repeat one song or the whole disc. S-XBS (Extra Bass System) gives your music an added bass boost for a fuller sound. With a heat-resistant polycarbonate body, you can use your portable CD player outdoors without having to worry about causing damage to it. A lock system lets you enjoy your music without having to worry about accidentally skipping songs or shutting off your portable CD player. The Jogger Grip lets you hold the CD player snugly in your hand, so it won't slip out when you're jogging.
