Panasonic offers its SL-SX270A Portable CD Player. Enhanced Anti-Shock Memory (ASM), which helps to eliminate audio skips and has improved functionality over prior Panasonic ASM technology, is a standard feature in this new Panasonic portable CD player. A significant advance in helping to prevent skipping in portable CD players, ASM gives listeners virtually flawless playback even under harsh conditions. Additionally, this model also includes Panasonic's Super Extra Bass System (S-XBS), for hard-hitting bass response and a Digital Servo System for more accurate CD tracking. CD functions include 24-track random access programming, track/disc repeat, skip, search, random play and resume, which picks up where the player left off when stopped. There's also a Hold switch, which, when activated, prevents other buttons from being pressed accidentally. An auto power shut-off feature will turn the unit off after five minutes of non-use, thereby preserving battery life. A top-mounted LCD displays operating information such as the track being played and Anti-Shock on or off. The SL-SX270A sports a heat-resistant, polycarbonate outer casing+, slide lock mechanism, a one-push, full-open mechanism for easy disc loading and removal, and a new compact design, making it easier to take them along wherever you go. This CD player also includes stereo headphones.
