However, if a shock does occur, the 40-second backup memory will kick in, and your music will continue to play as if nothing happened. This ensures near-perfect, skip-free listening.

And for convenience, try on the SL-SX285's wired remote control, which lets you operate the player even when it's tucked away in your backpack or inner coat pocket. With just two AA batteries (not included), the SL-SX285 will give you up to 35 hours of playback time. This feature is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly due to its low battery consumption. Alternatively, you may use the player with an optional 4.5V AC/DC adapter.
