This CD Walkman player with AM/FM stereo tuner (it's in the remote!) comes with a rechargeable battery and stereo headphones. Locating the tuner separate from the CD chassis allows you to enjoy better reception and less interference from the CD Player. G-Protection provides virtually skip-free CD enjoyment, and you'll enjoy up to 32 hours of continuous playback on just two AA batteries. 20 FM/10 AM radio station presets simplify your tuning. Other features include 64 Track RMS Programming, Track Loop Repeat, and 9 Playback Modes including one track, all disc, shuffle, and Introscan, giving you many playback options. Plus you get MD Link optical digital output to easily interface (optional cable required) with your MiniDisc recorder and make your own digital recordings. Joint Text Capability (Transfer CD TEXT Data to MD) lets you transfer compact disc text information such as title and Track Name to a MiniDisc when dubbing from CD to Sony's new MD (if the CD software has text data on it). All circuitry of the tuner is built into Remote Commander unit which helps to improve reception of tuner frequency.
