The ST-855 is the latest and newest state-of-the-art color LCD TV with a built-in AM/FM radio. STN Technology (Super Twisted Nematic) combined with a backlit screen produces a super high definition that results in a picture with brilliant contrast and resolution. VHF and UHF channel selection is made simple with a unique bar indicator tuning system. Additional features of the ST-855 include an A/V input jack to connect a cable (optional) to a VCR/VCP or a Video Camera, and an earphone jack for private listening. The ST-855 operates on three power sources: standard "AA" alkaline batteries (not included) or with an optional AC or automotive battery adapter.

The Citizen ST-855 handheld TV and AM/FM radio uses an STN (super twisted nematic) backlit LCD color screen with a resolution of more than 70,000 (480 x 146) pixels for clear, bright images. Its NTSC tuner receives VHF and UHF broadcasts, which are easily tuned in automatically using an onscreen bar indicator. The TV tunes VHF channels 2 through 13 and UHF channels 14 through 69. The radio receives the full AM and FM bands. The built-in antenna extends to a full 21 inches.

You can listen through a built-in 1.125-inch high-efficiency speaker, or connect an optional earphone for private listening. A 3.5-millimeter A/V input jack gives you the option of connecting the TV to a camcorder ,VCR, or other composite-video source using an optional A/V cable. The ST-855 operates on three AA batteries (not included) or can run on either AC or automotive power using optional adapters.
