The crystal-clear picture delivered by Casio's TV-970 brings you all the advantages of sitting indoors, even when you're in a hammock, at the game, on a porch swing, in the car, on a boat, or anyplace your adventures take you. The tiny device measures only 3.2 x 5.1 x 1.5 inches and weighs a mere .4 pounds (without batteries), so it's made for slipping into pockets, purses, and backpacks.

The set uses a passive, 2.3-inch Ti-STN (Super Twisted Nematic) color LCD with Casio's original high-contrast design. The anti-glare screen is visible in both daylight and darkness, and a handy audio/video input accommodates external sources like a DVD player, VCR, camcorder, digital camera, or game console. Auto tuning means you'll never have to wait for a new channel to load, and reception ranges from VHF (channels 2 to 13) to UHF (channels 14 to 69). The unit sports its own built-in rod antenna, a single top-mounted speaker, and a monaural (single-ear) earphone jack for private listening.

You'll enjoy about 4.5 hours of use on 4 AA batteries (not included), or you can power the TV-970 with an optional AC/DC power adapter. The set may also be used with Casio's vehicle power adapter (model CAK65).
