The Grundig Ovation music system defies expectations, packing the power and audio performance of a full-size stereo into a compact 12-by-7-by-7.5-inch chassis. The Ovation's Magic Fidelity sound system features three active loudspeakers, including a built-in subwoofer, each with its own 80-watt amplifier. The speakers combine to blow the roof off the joint, delivering dynamic, full-range audio to CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats. The system also includes a programmable equalizer (with dynamic bass boost) that adjusts to a listener's individual tastes, along with five preset equalizer settings. The front face of the system opens to expose the CD tray. Additional CD functions include an 8x oversampling digital filter, a 20-track memory, shuffle play, repeat, and intro scan.
