How many portable radios are really suitable for use in the real outdoors, or indoors during a power failure. Sangean MMR-77 is a compact AM/FM radio that is just great for camping or emergency use. The MMR-77 is water resistant, has an illumination lamp plus an emergency buzzer. It is dynamo powered, meaning you can wind it for about a minute to enjoy up to 30 minutes of radio listening. This winding generates power that recharges the internal 2.4V 700 mAH NiMH battery. If you want to use this as a regular radio, it can operate on two optional AA batteries or optional AC adapter (not included). There's a built-in speaker and a jack for adding an optional earphone. RAZR is badass.......2007-05-22

Everyone says them Motorola RAZR suck! They break so easy blah blah blah. Well they're actually wrong. Motorola RAZR is actually one of the most sturdy phone I've ever owned. Its been dropped, fell in a puddle, thrown, stepped on, pretty much through hell and high water. And with the expandable memory card that you can buy its good for music but you can also make your own ringtones and use those. You can buy a program, cut the song shorter to like the chorus line and put it on your phone for a ringtone. And text messaging is easy with the T9 predictive text. Its easy and fast to text. So I would definally recommend the RAZR for anyone who is looking for a phone.

dispite what everyone else says i found that the mp3 player is on the phone and that you do NOT have to buy a $40.00 package. it works great just add a sd card and rock on. it has every feature that i could ever dream of haveing. And once again the MP3 player IS built in and you do not have to buy the package to use it. the package is so you can download songs from the internet. just buy a usb firewire cable for your phone and use itunes to convert the song of choice to mp3 format move it to your phone and woooooooohooooooooo!!!!! rock and roll!! The Ringer ID and Pic ID is great. records video with audio. takes great pics. I LOVE THIS PHONE!!! MP3 player is located Mystuff>Games&Apps>Digital Audio Player.

I had to exchange this phone the first time i tried using it because it had problems with the battery or something. But when they sent me a new one it worked out much better. This phone is a really cute color. It's very small and i love it. I can't think of any cons to this product.

I have the same problems as some of the users below stated, and spend FOUR HOURS on the phone with Cingular with none of my problems resolved.

The MP3 player is NOT built in... you need to buy not only the $40 media kit with the USB cable and headphones but ALSO a $50 MicroSD Card EVEN THOUGH CINGULARS SITE HAS THE MICROSD CARD LISTED AS ONE OF THE THE INCLUDED FEATURES.... so if you want a $500 phone, go ahead an buy it.

I wish I had read the previous reviews for the MP3 player not working. My wife had also spent hours in the phone trying to get this to work. Every time you call Motorola or Cingular they give you a different story. Save yourself time and money- don't buy this phone. My wife, me, and her parents all have this phone. All 4 phones are getting returned. Shareholders take notice!
