The middle model in the product line, this unit has the same quality construction and features that you expect from Sherwood such as discrete amplifiers and solid construction. Even though the RD6106 is one of the least expensive Dolby Digital receivers available today, it still retains all the features you will ever need in a home theater receiver.

Sherwood America's RD-6106 receiver comes with Dolby Digital and DTS decoders as well as Dolby Pro Logic and virtual surround features for advanced home theater capabilities. A 24-bit digital processor provides exceptional clarity for all channels, while the Cinema EQ circuitry automatically adjusts movie audio for a living-room environment.

The amplifier section offers 60 watts per channel in stereo mode and 65 watts per channel (for all five channels) in surround mode. Bass and treble controls make it easy to adjust the sound to your liking.

Six-channel direct input allows for the future-format growth of your system, and four digital inputs (two coaxial, two optical) are provided for pure digital sound from DVDs, a DBS satellite tuner, and CD players. In addition, two rear-panel audio-video inputs and a front-panel AV input provide a wealth of video-switching capabilities. Four additional audio inputs leave plenty of room for additions to the system.

The tuner features 30 station presets and synthesized digital tuning for clear reception. The Digi-Link III remote control allows for auto-function operation with other Sherwood components, enabling complete control of the system from the comfort of your chair.
