Or, combine it with a Northridge E center channel and subwoofer to create a compact high-quality home theater system.The E30 performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL's Professional division. Equipped with JBL's tried-and-true titanium-laminate tweeters and PolyPlas woofers, the speaker reproduces high notes with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, assisted by the FreeFlow flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. The Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide ensures that every seat is the best in the house for sweet music and intelligible dialogue, or for just rocking out. Since the transducers were purpose-designed to work together harmoniously, JBL's simple Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network divides the signal with minimal processing (and minimal opportunity to degrade the signal). Dual sets of sturdy gold-plated, 5-way binding posts enable bi-amping or bi-wiring. With the high and low frequencies isolated, the E30's transducers can reproduce their frequency ranges more efficiently and with greater accuracy. The computer-designed, lock-mitred cabinet virtually eliminates distortion, and its slim European profile won't overpower your room.

JBL's exclusive 6-inch shielded PolyPlas woofer and 0.75-inch titanium-laminate dome tweeter ensure an impressively wide frequency response (50 Hz to 20 kHz), which can be boosted with the addition of a powered subwoofer. The tweeter also boasts an oval orientation called Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS), which results in a wider horizontal dispersion of sound. The idea is simple: turn every seat, even those in the corners of the room, into the best seat in the house. Additional audio enhancements include a FreeFlow flared port that minimizes distortion and thump and a Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network that preserves the original signal for additional clarity.
Though relatively compact at 8.38 by 15 by 12 inches (W x H x D), the E30s pack plenty of punch, with 70 watts of continuous power handling and a max amp level of 125 watts. The speakers' convenient five-way binding posts provide a variety of secure hookup options, including support for bi-wiring and bi-amping. The alternate cabling methods can offer either subtle (in the case of bi-wiring) or significant (bi-amping) improvements in audio imaging and detail. With the low and high frequencies isolated, the speakers' quartet of transducers can reproduce their frequency ranges even more efficiently and with greater accuracy. In addition, the speakers' computer-designed, lock-mitered cabinets virtually eliminate distortion, while their slim European profiles look elegant whether stored on individual speaker stands or bookshelves.
