The DM604 S2 is a full 3-way system with an aluminum dome tweeter, one woven Kevlar cone midrange driver and two paper/Kevlar cone bass drivers. The midrange driver, operating in its own isolated chamber within the cabinet, is totally relieved of the excursion demands of bass signals, so distortion levels stay low even at high playback levels. The two bass-only drivers incorporate the 'mushroom' dust cap construction, where the whole diaphragm structure is stiffened in girder fashion by using a large diameter dust cap and extending the voice coil bobbin to join and stiffen it at the center.

what happened to the beatiful computer.......2007-06-03

on April 29 I opened the box. Since the computer was for my wife, I sat with her. After two hours of trying to understand Vista, she left. I spent the next two weeks trying to figure out how to do the things I had done on xp. I finally got to the point where I could show my wife how to try out Office which terminated in less than 30 days. She was doing her email on May 26 when she decided to visit the bathroom. She returned to a dead machine. I wrote emails, chatted and called many time to speake to the Indian spokes persons. On May 30 Fedx delivered a collapsed box though I still had the orginal. It took two hours to assemble. On May 31, I delivered it to Fedx. Sony gave instruction to follow it's progress. When I tried it, Sony web site said it could not find the "Event" and told me tocall the number which I had labored on for five days. Maybe Sony appreciates this process - all I can think of thank god I got it through American Express with their backup warranty and american speaking help.

I bought this laptop computer about two months ago. I use it everyday. It is lightweight, very portable, fast and the screen is fantastic. I spent quite a bit of time looking for "the perfect" computer for my needs. This sony has the best combination lightweight portability and features.

This compuer has all of the necessary hardware and performs exceptionally well. I purchased this based on the size and weight asd I travel extensively both domestically and overseas.

I also activated the internal Cingular card and it is working great! I highly recommend this computer for those who want desktop performance in a small and lightweight computer.
