The streamlined 301 speaker system delivers the lifelike, spacious sound you'd expect from larger speakers. Bose Direct/Reflecting speaker technology allows you to hear Stereo Everywhere speaker performance throughout the listening area, not just in one "sweet spot." The result is an experience many conventional bookshelf speakers simply cannot match. The elegantly modern-styled enclosure holds some of Bose's most advanced technology. High-sensitivity Direct/Reflecting and Stereo Targeting tweeters direct mid to high frequencies to a wide, stable area between the speakers to re-create lifelike sound. Clear, more natural-sounding bass - even at high volumes - is achieved from the 8" long excursion woofer and flared-port geometry. You can use these speakers practically anywhere - as your main loudspeakers or as surround speakers.
