Hailing from the company's E-series, which is loosely modeled after the speakers that Cerwin-Vega supplies to movie theaters across the country, the E-76C offers optimum sound in any listening environment. The center speaker is outfitted with dual 6.5-inch midrange drivers that produce extremely high efficiency and tight sound, along with a self-resetting balanced dome tweeter with a high-sensitivity design. The resulting 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response adds a warm, precise, full-bodied flair to movie dialogue--the domain of all center speakers.

The E-76C also includes a tuned bass-reflex enclosure that delivers an extra 3 dB boost at the tuning frequency, plus a low-diffraction baffle cabinet that reduces distortion while increasing the clarity. As with all Cerwin-Vega home theater speakers, the E-76C is also magnetically shielded, so you can place it above or below the TV without distorting the video image. And though the E-76C can serve as a center speaker in a variety of home theater systems, it excels when teamed with other tonally matched E-series speakers, such as the E-715, E-712, and E-710 floorstanding models and the E-706 and E-705 bookshelf units.

The speaker, which measures 19.5 by 8 by 9.88 inches (W x H x D), works with amps as powerful as 125 watts per channel. It's also backed by a five-year warranty on parts and labor.

Right Head size.......2007-05-30

This headset is really nice in terms of functionality. The fidelity is superb even in noisy environments. If your rear "ear to ear" distance exceeds 91/4" you will not be able to use these. I am at the max and I have a relatively small head (hat 71/8").

Great Headset - One Size?.......2007-05-17

If you're looking for a headset that is easy to use and mechanically & functionally sound, then this it it. Pairs quickly and easily. Decent sound. The only, and HUGE, gripe about the product is that it only comes in one size. Samsung should've somehow incorporated an adjustment feature - your head has to be the PERFECT size for it not only to fit, but to stay put.

I purchased this headset to complement my Samsung UpStage when I workout so that I can get rid of the wires using the Bluetooth technology, but as I put it on for the first time, I immediately knew it would not work out. As I tilted my head, the headset slipped a bit, folding my ear down forcing me to readjust it. This can be a problem for those who want to purchase this for the same reason I had. I can imagine trying to do a bench exercise (i.e. bench press) where one would have to lie down or any exercise that would require a simple head tilt - it probably would not stay on or slip each time.

After testing product (and overall appearance of it), I believe that Samsung had the active, exercise-heavy demographic in mind when designing it. Unfortunately they made a horrible mistake by making it a "one size fits all" design. They could've definitely benefited by making an adjustable feature or selling different sizes of the product.

Too bad, I would've liked this headset.

Nice product...easy to use, connected well with my blackjack! Good sound! Gave me a complex....would'nt fit around my head very well, and pulled on my ears. If you have an average size head then you might should pass on this one. If you have a tiny head then this is the product for you.
