The speaker owes its crisp audio characteristics to its twin 3.93 DiaDrive bass units, which integrate seamlessly with the 1-inch Viotex fabric dome tweeter to ensure wide bandwidth and fine detailing. In fact, the resulting frequency response of 56 Hz to 20 kHz is superior to that of many competing center speakers, including Mission's own m3c1i.

The speaker's i-series crossover, meanwhile, takes into account the baffle diffraction effect to give a more open and detailed midrange performance, with superior integration between the drivers for smoother treble output.
