The VT-2, a technological relative of NHT's flagship Model 3.3, represents the pinnacle of NHT's home theater design philosophy. Conceived as a solution for high-performance multi-use home entertainment systems, the VT-2 was designed to provide state-of-the-art reproduction of recorded music and video soundtracks. Incorporating innovative features such as NHT's exclusive Audio / Video Switch and Coherent Array design, the VT-2 is optimized for both audiophile and video performance and is the perfect addition to surround systems incorporating Dolby Digital or Pro-Logic technologies. The VT-2 Towers employ the identical midrange and high frequency drivers as the companion VS-2 Audio / Video Satellite, which is recommeded for use as center and surround speakers to provide matched timbre in all five channels. Inside the VT-2 are two separate chambers. The midrange and high frequency drivers are housed in a sealed sub-enclosure and located on a narrow front baffle. The 10-inch long-throw subwoofer is housed in a separate vented enclosure and is mounted on the side of the cabinet for consistent bass loading.
