Combining an affordable price tag with optimal sonic impact, the JHT525 comes with two front satellite speakers, two rear satellite speakers, a center channel speaker, and a powered subwoofer. Each satellite speaker sports a 3.5-inch mid-range driver that handles the mids and highs, while the subwoofer's 5.25-inch long-throw woofer--which is housed in a wood cabinet with a front-ported enclosure--reproduces the lows with precision. The center speaker, meanwhile, offers its own 3.5-inch driver to play back the dialogue, ensuring that actors' voices always sound warm and crisp. The center speaker is also magnetically shielded, so you can place it on or near the TV without distorting the onscreen image.
