The Ensemble 310 combines a pair of the compact but powerful Newton Series MC300 satellite speakers and the re-designed BassCube 10S subwoofer. The result is a room-filling speaker system that is not only awesome for music, but also right at home in a home theater system.The Newton MC300 uses two 4-inch midrange drivers and a 1-inch reinforced silk dome tweeter. Its MTM (Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange) design produces a robust, wide-range, well-dispersed output with outstanding musical accuracy. The MTM array also makes the MC300 ideal for use in a home theater system because it can act as a left main, center and right main speaker - resulting in smooth, seamless transitions across the home theater's soundstage.Based on the design of the BassCube 10, the 10S has a downward-firing 10-inch driver, built-in 75 watt amplifier and a re-designed Newton Series cabinet design.
