Not all homes have the space for elaborate speaker setups, which is where this two-way 5.25-inch JBL speaker comes into play. The speaker, which features a maximum recommended power level of 60 watts, installs conveniently in the wall at ear level, where the 5.25-inch titanium-laminate cone woofer and 1-inch titanium-laminate dome tweeter combine to produce rich, elegant bass and crisp high tones. To further the audio flexibility, JBL outfitted the tweeter on a unique swivel mount. Listeners can adjust the tweeter to the preferred angle depending on where they're sitting and which angle produces the best overall sound. The unit makes an ideal companion with a matching stereo speaker in a space-challenged living room (the mounting cutout measures 6.12 by 8.96 inches), as a secondary speaker in an adjacent room, or as part of a comprehensive home theater system for watching movies or listening to five-channel audio sources.

The speaker is relatively easy to install using a Philips screwdriver, utility knife, tape measure, and carpenter's level. However, it's difficult to move or reposition it once the cutout is made, so users are advised to take their time when determining the ideal listening location. JBL recommends installing the speaker at approximately the same height as the listener's ears for best results. The speaker also includes integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications and a template/paint shield that can be used to make the initial cutout or protect the speakers when applying a new paint color to the frame (the speakers come in white). Listeners who are building a new home or addition can make installation easier by purchasing the RIF5 rough-in frame kit.

The speaker terminals accommodate up to 16-gauge speaker cable (not included), which JBL recommends for distances below 20 feet. The company advises using 12-gauge wires for speakers located between 20 and 30 feet from the receiver, and 10-gauge cable for distances above 30 feet.

It's the audio that matters most, however, and the SP5 delivers powerful, clear sound with a frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz. Whether your priority is to spread music throughout the house or make your home theater speakers disappear from sight, JBL's SP5 speaker gets the job done.

this case is horrible..first my clip broke off after 2 and half month of use and the phone flips open if u do a little jogging around...lastly it doesnt feel comfortable when opening the lg envy for texting and it makes the phone look bulky.

This type of case didn't work for me. The side covering the qwerty keyboard would slip around a lot and even come off. It also doesn't allow for the phone to close completely causing the phone to flop open unexpectedly. Got agravated with it so I took it off and put it in the drawer. Next step will probably be to put it in the circular file. I'm using a holster type case now that came with my laptop bag.

very loose fit. found it very annoying. Its speaker cuts are not big enough so it covers up the speaker and lowers volume.
