It really protects the phone nicely and isnt near as bulky as most leather cases so it fits into your pocket fine! I just cut off the piece that you can use to attach the case to the waist clip because i dont use the waist clip and it doesnt even feel like it has a case on it.

nice hard plastic. only downfall is that a wont use the belt clip, so i had to rip off the button on the back....no big deal
