Lightning Audio delivers easy, affordable, hard-hitting bass with its BCKT110.150 car kit, which includes a bridgeable two-channel amplifier, 10-inch subwoofer, sealed subwoofer enclosure with grille, and a complete 10-gauge amplifier wiring kit. The 150.2 amplifier puts out a healthy 150 watts of power into a mono 4-ohm load--the perfect level for the Bolt 10.4 sub. Listeners won't have to worry about stressing the system, as the sub can handle up to 500 watts peak. To ensure that the ground-pounding bass power keeps its cool, Lightning Audio also included a beefy powder-coated heatsink, along with built-in high-pass and low-pass crossovers and speaker-level inputs for easy system integration. The polypropylene cone and four-layer voice coil, meanwhile, ensure that everything stays under control when the volume reaches ear-pounding levels.
In car stereo equipment, style is nearly as important as sound, which is Lightning Audio included a nuclear yellow cone and silver dust cap, along with a custom integrated grille that accommodates extreme excursion. Adding to the fun is the sub's fully carpeted, sealed Q-Logic enclosure--which is made of full 0.62-inch MDF construction for rock-solid performance--thus ensuring maximum power handling and tight, thunderous bass output. Finally, the amplifier wiring kit includes such essentials as an ATC fuse holder with a 30 amp fuse, 16 feet of LBIC interconnects, 20 feet of 10-gauge red power wire, 3 feet of 10-gauge black ground wire, and an assortment of ring terminals, spade lugs, cable ties, and grommets. Add it all up and you have everything you need to outfit your car with thumping, earth-shaking bass. The entire package carries a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
