Product Description
The polypropylene, a lightweight and popular material, is used to ensure maximum woofer efficiency. The benefit is high output with modest amplifier power. Each Reference subwoofer uses a progressive spider, which provides better control at excursion limits than more commonly used linear spiders. Your benefit when using a progressive spider is reduced distortion at high output levels. Proprietary deep-draw I-beam basket allows room for a longer motor structure, which provides increased bass output. This basket is also more rigid and has a lower basket resonance. Additional cooling of the motor structure is provided. The subwoofer's thermal capabilities are augmented, thus increasing power handling. The rubber provides optimum cone-edge suspension and absorbs distortions that may travel up the cone edge, ensuring clean, tight bass.

This product does not work for the cellphone it says it's for. The manufacturer wouldn't pay for the shipping for returning the product. Wasn't worth shipping back to get stiffed on the reimbursement anyway. Please think twice before ordering this product. The 1 star rating should be changed to 0 stars.
