This headset works very well. First thing to note: It DOES HAVE a call/end button, when I bought it the description was lacking that fact. That is a big plus, especially when you get a call and do not want to shuffle around your pockets for the phone.

This is a very lightweight headset, I am wearing it as I writing and I barely feel it. The boom mike is very useful, especially when you are walking outside. Most generic Sony headsets (corded and bluetooth) lack a boom mike.

I think this headset is much better than my bluetooth headset(Motorola m500) because first off:

1. No radiation (I know it technically isn't harmful, but better safe than sorry)

2. People can actually hear me when I talk outside while walking.

3. I think it is less weight than the bluetooth headset

4. You CAN listen to songs with this headset, unlike bluetooth headsets which give a generic polyphonic ringtone when someone calls(as far as my specific model)

This headset is definetly worth your money but there are a few caveats:

1. The headset doesn't come with earphone or mike covers(those spongy covers that absorb shock and noise) , it is kind of annoying but something you can get used to. I am using a spare earphone cover, I can imagine them being that expensive

2. The cord sometimes wraps around the boom mike, it takes a little effort to keep it separate but it works.

Other than those minor things, this is a great headset.
