Works fine for me. I'm getting what seem like fast read and write speeds, but haven't actually timed it. It's been used on both Windows and Mac computers. Memory prices come down so quickly, you might find a better deal if you wait a couple of months. At this writing, though $70 for 8 G seems like a great price.
