10-inch subwoofer installs easily in ceiling. Installers will appreciate the ease of installation of the 10-Inch In-Ceiling Subwoofer w/Bracket. This in-ceiling speaker comes with a variety of devices designed specifically to make installing the subwoofer a breeze, including a steel mounting handle that protects the cone and motor structure while simplifying final installation and assembly. This handle makes one-hand installation possible, which is particularly useful for in-ceiling installations. Remove the grille with the included grille-removal tool and cut the white film out of the mounting bracket with a utility knife. Connect the speaker wire (not included) and place the subwoofer into the ceiling by holding the black steel installation handle. Use the guides to align the speaker frame with the mounting bracket. Attach the speaker to the mounting bracket with the included screws, and remove the installation handle. The grille comes with a spun cellulose insert that leaves your ceiling with aesthetically clean lines. The 10-Inch In-Ceiling Subwoofer w/Bracket has been designed to mount directly to 16" OC, 19.2" and 24" OC wooden frame construction ceiling joists and trusses. The subwoofer is made of a liquid crystal polymer material for optimal sound, and the frame and grille can be painted to match your room's décor. The included mounting bracket doubles as a pre-construction drywall cutout template.
