In our world of frenetic information overload, poetry should serve as a refreshing oasis of tranquility, beauty, and peace. Jamie Givens does this and more in her first volume. Subtle humor, precise images, and her command of words make this a fine read. Everyoine should take the time to enjoy a few moments of rest with works such as this.
