About the Artist
Jim has been playing for 20 years, performing in Sonoma County since the mid 80's-with periods of hiatus from performing-and has recently emerged from such a period with 3 successful locally produced concerts in 1999 and the current release of a C.D. in May 2000

Jim has studyed with Randy Vincent and Davis Ramey and Alan Rising but mostly been self taught by careful listening and study to Jazz of the past & present. Inspired by Bill Evans, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Kenny Barron & many others.
