About the Artist
This CD was recorded on September 16th, 1999 at Metropolitan Piano Gallery on the Yamaha Disclavier system. THis method enabled me to take mom's entire performance via midi into my computer, edit it, then replay and record the edited version on the Yamaha grand piano at a later date. This technology was vital to the CD in that it enabled her to play without the pressure of being "perfect". I believe that this is Mom at her best. Her talent never ceases to amaze me, and she truly gets better with time. I'm proud to be her son!
