About the Artist
Wisconsin native, now Chicago-based female singer/songwriter, Jill Dawson is an ex-corporate executive who abandoned a high power career to pursue her true passion, music. After several years working for a well established management consulting firm, Jill was inspired by an episode of Oprah to follow her true calling. She quickly gained the respect of her contemporaries, and attracted attention from producer, Erik Vaveris. Together, they produced Jill's debut, First Time Around, including some of Chicago's top musicians on the album. The album is receiving continual positive press, and airplay on public stations from coast to coast. Jill is currently on tour promoting the album, including stops throughout the midwest, and selected national and international cities.
