Editorial Reviews
Product Description
In the midst of the current musical glumness, this new project edited in collaboration between the two MUSEA labels GAZUL (New Music) and MUSEA PARALLELE (more oriented towards the different jazz styles) brilliantly gets back to the innovation and musical excellence dear to the French school of Rock In Opposition. Far from rock fury, this album shows quiet ambiences that slowly go from a kind of jazz music liberated of all format constraints, to a contemporary music for naughty children. The line-up gathered here performs crystal-clear and happy childish leaps of unexpected notes, nave and calm voices, inventive and inspired percussion. Guigou CHENEVIER or TOUPIDEK are not found here (as could have been tought) to serve this perfect music, as opposed to such talented musicians as Franoise TOULLEC (piano), Ren LE BORGNE (percussion) and also Claudia SOLALs light and delicate voice. Of course, the addition of five of their friends talents adds even more to the fresh originality of a limitation-free album that shows happiness and emotions, beyond the real complexity of a music situated out of time.
