About the Artist
Long recognized in the New Age genre, Michael Lee Thomas is now being noticed in the Jazz arena. With the release of 'J' & 'Project 7: Area 51', Michael debuts his multi-genre style he refers to as 'Thermal Romantic'. As a ground-breaking instrumentalist, this self-taught keyboard artist has roots in Hard Rock. Originally a drummer, Michael began a serious keyboard regime in 1987. Since then he has released six CDs. The first three in 1989 and 1990. After a self-imposed development period, Michael did not release any material until 1999. During this period of time, Michael refined his craft and composed and recorded over 500 digital cuts of release quality. Plans call for more releases of this catalog and further refinement of the style Michael spent years discovering.
