Jazz pianist Steve Rudolph (in solo, duo and trio settings)records 5 originals and tunes by Cole Porter, Bill Evans, and Paul Desmond, among others. Recorded live in the performance hall of the Manchester Craftsmens Guild in Pittsburgh, the featured musicians include legendary drummer Roger Humphries (formerly with Horace Silver, Ray Charles and Shirley Scott; bassist Dwayne Dolphin (formerly w/ Hank Crawford, Stanley Turrentine and Wynton Marsalis) and bassist Steve Varner. Rudolph's style has evolved form influences of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Ahmad Jamal into something uniquely his own.
