Liveart was first concieved of by guitarist Jonathan Townes and drummer Andy Sanesi in New York City 1999. Since its inception, the band has been through various incarnations and one previous recording, 'Liquid Stream of Electric Consciousness.' Liveart is a kind of musical workshop performing music that is almost entirely improvised and unrehearsed. The membership of this band is open and revolving with a roster including bassists Conrad Korsch, Mikel Alann Combs and most recently Justin Wallace.
