About the Artist
Mike Campeau is a prolific songwriter and has developed his jazz style over the years. In his early years, he was lead vocalist and keyboard player for local Detroit bands such as Earth Child, Edward Hines Band and 3rd Generation.

Mike's strong vocals and melodies are his artistic strength. His influences range from Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad to Stevie Wonder and Al Jareau.

Today, Mike is owner of Destiny Records, Inc. and Mikeau Publishing Inc. His next full length CD will be produced by multi-platinum grammy winner, Michael J. Powell at Vanguard Recording Complex in Oak Park, Michigan.

His new release, Destiny, is a jazzy love song that is sure to be the standard wedding song of the new millenium.

Independent record label, Destiny Records, Inc., was originally created to facilitate Mike Campeau's releases. The first CD titled, Campeau-sition, highlighted Mike's talent for songwriting in various genres, such as pop rock, jazz and love ballads. One of the songs from Campeau-sition, called Destiny was reproduced by multi-platinum grammy winning Producer, Micheal J. Powell (Anita Baker); and is being shopped to the majors for a distribution deal and record contract for the artist.

In the future, Destiny Records, Inc. will be searching for the great Detroit talent that has been undiscovered to date.
