About the Artist
Danny McCollim, A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. An accomplished pianist, composer and arranger, he has performed with such great artists as Saxophonists; Michael Brecker, Lew Tabackin, Richie Cole, Frank Foster, Bud Shank and Ernie Watts. Trumpeters; Freddie Hubbard, Tom Harrell and Jack Sheldon. Guitarists; Howard Roberts and Larry Coryell. Trombonist; Conrad Herwig. Drummers; Dave Weckl and Steve Smith; Jazz Violinist; Johnny Frigo, Matt Glazer and Jon Vriesacker; Vocalists; Ethel Ennis, and Ann Marie Moss; The Mills Brothers, The Drifters, The Platters; the Spokane Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Gunther Schuller, and numerous local groups in the Spokane and Boston areas. Danny is the leader and primary composer for the group Jazz Conspiracy.
