"...the performance is stellar and the vibe is gripping" - Dan McAvinchey, Guitar Nine Records
Product Description
PULSE is the debut release from guitarist Linda Taylor, "LT". A self-produced, mostly self-performed work of instrumental funk, the album draws upon LTs background in R&B and funk, while showcasing her blues driven guitar playing and her jazz-based harmonies. From the soul-drenched epic, Baby Blue to the angular Kanji To Me through the Curtis/MeShell influenced Cant Complain, LTs playing marries the freedom of jazz with the foundation of soul, into a fusion that can only be described as MonkFunk.
