About the Artist
Dear friends- I recently received shipment of my new solo piano CD, "She's So Pretty At Noon". Thirteen of the 17 selections are well known to the general public, four pieces are originals that I wrote. Of all of the selections I improvised on four - "Ain't Misbehavin", "Theme from New York, New York", "A Glance of Romance", and "She's So Pretty At Noon". I played only melody on the thirteen remaining tunes. The objective of this album was to record songs that people always ask me to play. A rule of thumb is that when you get requests it is important to stick to the melody. That is what I have done on all but four of these recordings. The style of this CD ranges from swing/romantic, (tracks 1, 2, 9, 10, 12, and 16), to jazz/pop, (tracks 5, 13, and 17), to bebop, (track 7), to Broadway showstoppers, (tracks 3, 4, and 15), to the waltz, (track 6), to classical (track 11), and finally to Floyd Cramer country, (tracks 8 and 14). Thank you, Andrew Przybyla Andy@pianoman-sa.com
