Product Description
Sea Mill Productions Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of saxophonist Chris Millingtons second CD, Boppin at the Bengal Lounge. The CD contains seven new original compositions written by Chris along with four standards. The standards such as Summertime, Ive Grown Accustomed her Face and The Pink Panther were recorded live in the world famous Bengal Lounge of The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, British Columbia.
Chris has been performing with his quartet every Friday and Saturday night in the lounge for the last two years. Chris wanted the patrons to be able to re-experience the whole evening in their own home. As a result he received permission from The Empress not only to record in the Bengal Lounge but to include the Bengal Lounges Chicken Curry and the Bengal Tiger Cocktail recipes in the liner notes.
Chriss robust performances on soprano, alto and tenor saxophones along with warm musical arrangements gives the listener a wide pallette to choose from. This is a disk that you will want to revisit on many occasions.
The music, the cocktail, the food... relive the experience of the Bengal Lounge with Chris Millington latest CD Boppin at the Bengal Lounge.
