Stan Harrison, the composer and sax player, has recorded and performed with everyone from David Bowie to Serge Gainsbourg to Stevie Ray Vaughan to Radiohead. This music represents another side of his playing not shown while performing with R&R and R&B bands and another side of his composing not in evidence in his writing to TV.

This CD is a hauntingly melodic and original body of work, film-noirish in style, written for Saxophone, String Quartet and Upright Bass. There are 11 instrumentals and 3 vocals, all contributing to a personal statement that is possibly universally felt. There is some improvisation but for the most part all the music is composed.Written over a relatively short period of time, this CD was recorded and mixed at Air Lyndhurst Studios and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, both in London and was co-produced by Stan Harrison and Mark Wood
