About the Artist
Born Michael Andrew Hershman in St. Louis, Missouri. Michael grew up in Missouri, New York & Michigan. He started to read music at the age of 4 and played his saxophone at the age of 9. He comes from a musically inclined background.

While Michael was in high school he had many different performances, involving symphonic wind ensemble as well as solo & ensemble in the classical, jazz & pop genres. Michael had received all top scores in his State Music Contests.

After earning a degree in music from Michigan State University, he moved to San Diego, CA. He played all over San Diego, L.A., Santa Barbara, and the Bay area. He toured with the great musicians like Ike Turner & Tower of Power, to name a few. He also toured all over the world.

In December 1999, Michael released “O…Hie”. In early July 2001 “O…Hie” was re-released with Coda Records.
