World-remowned jazz guitarist Jack Grassel fires up in his 10th CD with incredible "state of the art" solo guitar virtuosity played on the new Hofner Jazzica Custom arch top. Featured are seven jazz standards and seven Grassel compositions. Recording sessions were scattered over two very busy gigging weeks, with no time to "warm up or worry." All are first takes-no overdubs, splicing, effects or tone modifications. "The music is close to what I sound like when playing at home alone," says Grassel. As a clinician and artist, Grassel endorses guitars for Hofner Co. of Germany, and affiliate of Boosey & Hawkes Instruments, Inc. of Sun Valley, CA who collaborated on the album.
