About the Artist
Deep within your soul is an energy waiting to be reached, waiting to be touched, waiting to be understood. Have you ever felt yourself wandering aimlessly in this world, sometimes filled with confusion, wondering if you will ever find the path that will guide you to some understanding of your existence? There is a voice, gently, calling upon your spirit, like birds singing to you on an early sunrise. Do you hear it, beckoning you? Seeking these answers and answering that calling released the poetic expressive insight of "debut" recording artist, SiloamPool.

Siloam (Greek; interpretation "sent"), Pool (a group of people, like drops of water that form a soothing common effort). Her classic Euro style that is reminiscent of the "beatnik" era is romantically refreshing. Siloam's vocal style is soothingly "funky" with a poetic flare that flows into a soulful finale of cool acid jazz. Siloam’s unique voice aromatically blends ingredients of honest and sincere passion. SiloamPool has developed an eloquent combination of orchestrated jazz ensembles layered by her nourishing lyrics. The combination of these qualities creates a well-polished work of musical art that will make one feel as if they have fine dined on the wonderment’s of life. As you listen, your mind will travel with her on many journeys. Siloam has had many influences in her life, but her greatest influence, teacher, mentor, and friend has been “The Creator”. As a writer, Siloam never ventures into her thoughts without recognizing who is her guide. She strives to author songs which feed the spirit and soul. To her this is an awesome responsibility and honored gift.

SiloamPool along with Sidney Howard wrote and produced this debut CD, "Colors of Black & White". The CD is a musical collage of Siloam’s journey. In days past a shy, young redheaded girl, full of hopes buried within, longed to feel free to release these hidden treasures. She marveled at those who could press past their fears and live their dreams. Fate divine initiated her journey, a trip unbeknownst to her she had begun. This fate would not allow her the comfort of hiding in the background to which she had become accustomed. Force by the desires of her heart, her fears and insecurities had to be overcome. People, places and events impacting her journey, some to dissuade some to pursue. Today before you is that young girl, the woman - Siloam sent to share with you treasures begotten, on her journey. The CD, "Colors of Black & White" is a mellifluous blend of songs that awaken your spirit and open your eyes to a fresh view of life. So consider this collection of songs a musical photo book, listening pictures, of the journey that Siloam has taken thus far. As you listen, Siloam wants you to know that you have become a treasure in her journey.
