About the Artist
A Chicago native, Andrina Singer's musical life began at age ten when it was discoverd she could play the violin by ear. Years of training culminated with study at the Chicago Conservatory and performing with the Oak Park-River Forest Symphony Orchestra. Her first job was as a strolling violinist and vocalist at the famous lakefront Holiday Inn with its revolving restaurant. This exposure led her to performing at the best places in the Chicago area, including a fifteen year association with the Vince Geraci Orchestra where she was featured on the unique five string electric violin. Since then, Andrina has played with such notables as Melba Moore, Tony Bennett and Joel Gray. She continues to perform as a one woman show all over the Midwest.
