About the Artist
The duo was formed in 1996 and has performed in Kentucky, Ohio, and Virginia. Jay Flippin, piano and Gordon Towell, saxophones are the performers. Jay and Gordon are experienced jazz musicians who have amassed impressive performance credentials. The duo performs jazz standards and original compositions in an intimate, relaxed and reflective atmosphere. Their first CD, Ask Me Now has been featured on WUKY, WMKY, WMST, WVRG, CBC, and CKUA radio stations. They have just released their second CD, Still Friends on Ball Park records.

Product Description
A series of intimate jazz duets between pianist Jay Flippin and saxophonist Gordon Towell. Standard tunes and orignals are the vehicles for improvisational dialogue between these two musicians.
