About the Artist
Leon Harp hails from Chicago, Ill. Now residing in greater metropolitan Orlando, Florida, Harp is very much a part of "Hollywood East," as Orlando has been called.

Playing piano since the age of four, Harp has had many radio and television appearances for local and regional networks, and recorded as session player on numerous albums.

His professional education includes Murray State University and Judson College. He has studied with Norman Reid, DM Columbia University and Sylvia McElroy, MM Juilliard. He has also studied composition Dr. Robert Mowery.

His piano concerto "The Truckers Concerto" was premiered with the Deland Little Symphony Orchestra in Deland, Florida on February 10, 2002. The concerto is one of few pop piano concertos in the Western Hemisphere.

"This Is Your Country" is an original theme with overtones of God Bless America in the introduction and overtones of Battle Hymn of The Republic in the chorus. Style is "dance/rock."

"One Nation Under God" is a counter-melody of two themes. The first theme is "O Say Can You See." The second theme is orginal melody of the Preambles, or the Pledge Of Allegiance, "one nation under God (for you and me) indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

The balance of the album consists of 8 top-of-line arrangements created with you in mind.
